Presuppositional Apologetics

Presuppositional apologetics is based upon one main theme: the methodology of the apostle Paul at Mar's hill. (Acts 17) In it's essence, the methodology is the biblical method of evangelizing, as told of in Proverbs 26:4-5, the "Don't answer, answer" strategy:
Don't Answer Proverbs 26:4 Deny autonomous reasoning, instead standing firmly on the word of God.
Answer Proverbs 26:5 Hypothetically answer based on the unbeliever's terms to show how it fails rationality
The emphasis of our site is on Presuppositional apologetics, or standing firmly upon the presuppositions set forth in the infallible word of the living God that — along with dutiful prayer for assistance from the Holy Spirit — can indeed change the very hearts of men. Standing securely on the Word of God is the only way to be completely rational.

That you could better understand this, I recommend watching:
Autonomous reason is the way almost everyone lives their lives. At it's core, it's saying, "I am the 'God of my own universe, and I make the decisions on whether something is good or bad.'
This makes complete sense when the presupposition is believed, that each person is a totally seperate entity, or "corporation," and there isn't a bigger plan; a grander "scheme" to the notion of existence — Why there is something, rather than nothing
e.g. — the reason being to declare the great glory of the one true God, Jesus Christ, for ever!
The presuppositional approach attacks the very nature of sin, itself.
You see, the original sin was when Eve decided that — instead of trusting in the inerrant word of the living God — she would trust her own, autonomous reasoning to decide what's good for her.
The presuppositional approach is what God, Himself (Jesus Christ), used when He was tempted by the "prince of the power of the air." Satan tried to use scripture to confuse the god-man into an easier path, but after refuting him with more scripture, God said to him, "Get away from me!"
Satan as "Prince of the power of the air": Ephesians 2:2
Jesus tempted by Satan: Matt 4:1-11

Really, I'm a recent college graduate, full-time Berean, part-time entrepreneur, and spare-time body-builder. Jonathon is a family-man, — with a wife & child — with a full-time occupation, and a very active life assisting with the website design of many diverse organisations. We get to this site when we can, but be patient.
In the meantime you can reach us at the forums and by email at JonathonSampson@evolutioninsurrection.com & trevorpage@evolutioninsurrection.com. We will be pleased to make your acquaintance.
We'd each be more than happy to further explain something and perhaps give aid. We might even decide to create a website from your input (confidentiality assured). These are the pages made thus far from messages by people:
